It's gonna be a girl!

Yesterday we went to have our mid pregnancy ultra sound done. This is the one where we get to find out what the sex is. We had to go to a specialist instead of our regular doctor because the results from our blood test came back with a slightly higher risk for down syndrome.



After the ultra sound we found out that our due date was off by a couple weeks which they said was probably the reason for the weird blood test in the first place.

The result is a healthy, perfectly normal baby girl. It was hard to see what the tech was pointing out most of the time but we were able to see a few glimpses of our future daughter. We both couldn't stop smiling after we found out.
