We're Pregnant!

We finally get to tell our secret to our family and to the world that we are pregnant! We found out all the way back on Thanksgiving day weekend but decided to wait for Christmas to tell everyone. It was tough keeping the secret (especially for Annette) but it was worth it.

It was really cool the way that we did it though. We decided to pull the individual families aside and tell them that we were taking their picture as part of a Christmas present project. The whole time we are secretly video recording them. Then we told them "On the count of 3 say 'We're pregnant!!'". From there they figured it out on their own, although some of them took longer than others! Here is the video compilation of the result. Enjoy!

My New Toys

Every year Annette and I get ourselves a little something for Christmas. Kind of a joint gift that we can both have fun with. I usually talk her into something that I would like a little more and usually these things are electronic. This is what I got this year.

Starting a new family means lots of memories. Memories worth saving. I figured we had better get this as soon as possible. I was big on pushing for a videographer for our wedding and I'm glad I did. Having that day on film is invaluable. I know this tiny little camera is gonna pay off. Oh, and of course it has to be HD! You can already see this in action on my previous post at Shelley's homecoming game.




Viewsonic 10'' Android WiFi Tablet
You might think this was me pushing for this also, but this was mostly Annette. She really wanted a tablet for some reason. I sure as heck wasn't gonna argue. However, ever since we've gotten it, I've been obsessed with it and she has hardly touched it. I'm trying to show her all the cool things about it but she hasn't warmed up to it yet. I'm sure she will. In the mean time, I'm learning a ton about Android as I have already rooted it and flashed a rom on it, making it twice as fast and more robust then when it came out of the box. It sure is a time sucker though.

My Sister the Princess

Last Friday night was Liberty's homecoming. My sister not only plays on the Girls varsity team but also starts for them. And if that isn't cool enough, she was also selected as one of the princess's for the homecoming court of her senior class. Way to go Shelley!
